TRUTH CORRODED ANNOUNCE U.S / EUR. PUBLICITY AGREEMENT AND NEW ALBUM DETAILS

South Australian thrash metal band Truth Corroded have entered a publicity agreement with U.S based TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC. "The agreement will offer Truth Corroded the opportunity to build its profile in the U.S and Europe in the lead up to the release of our new album" comments Truth Corroded bass player Greg Shaw “TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC have demonstrated a highly professional approach and a strong front for the bands they represent, and we are really looking forward to working together in taking our music further”.

Truth Corroded have also been busy working on material for its new album since returning from its recent tour through Asia. The band will enter the studio from May to June with Scar Symmetry guitarist Jonas Kjellegren once again mixing and mastering the album at Black Lounge Studio Sweden. The album is scheduled for a mid year release. The band will perform several local shows leading up to the release of the band’s new album - check the bands online sites for details.

BACK FROM ASIA

So we got back from Asia yesterday, we had a killer time on the tour, the shows were great and the people were awesome we will post up photos and tour reports soon and then we will commence writing for the new album. Cheers to everyone we met and came to the shows on the Thrash & Conquer Tour. We look forward to doing it all again next year.

TRUTH CORRODED TO TOUR CHINA / HONG KONG / JAPAN & SUPPORTING ARCH ENEMY IN ADELAIDE

Truth Corroded will emabark on the THRASH AND CONQUER TOUR OF ASIA in Novmeber 2009, please echeck the poster for full dates. THRASH & CONQUER TOUR. ASIA 2009

Big news for Adelaide extreme thrashers Truth Corroded with the band performing across China, Hong Kong and Japan on the 'Thrash and Conquer Tour' this November. This will be the bands third tour in Asia, having headlined the Full Battle Order Metal Festival in Singapore in 2007 and last years Full Battle Order Tour Of Duty Asia ( alongside Singapore death/thrash act Bhelliom ) in Thailand, Hong Kong and China, where the band supported Behemoth in Beijing.

Truth Corroded have released two albums in Asia through Singapore based label Mourning Sound Records, 'Our Enemy Is The Weapon' in 2006 and 'Upon The Warlords Crawl' in 2008, receiving critical acclaim both for the albums and the bands live performance from online and leading print media from across the region. This will the bands first ever tour of Japan, with the band sharing the stage alongside Japanese thrashers Argument Soul and Grim Force and Australian power thrashers Lord.

As part of the tour Truth Corroded will be perfroming new music from the bands forthcoming album due for release early 2010. Davin Buttery from Double Dragon / A Red Dawn will be filling in for Truth Corroded guitarist Mark Lennard on the Thrash and Conquer Tour.

UPDATES

Sorry, its been a hella long time between updates on this site, we have now finished the Australain Decimation 09 Tour and we had an absolute Blast, great to see a lot of familiar faces and a lot of new ones to. Cheers to all who came along to the shows, bought merch shared a beer or ten and partied hard with us. Special cheers to Kento & Dysie for letting us stay at your houses during the tour. Will post photos from the tour asap.

We are currently in writing mode for the next album, 2 songs near completion with more to come. Hard to say where we are heading with the new tracks but be assured it will be METAL!!!. Have been playing a new track 'Leave Nothing Alive' at recent shows so that should give you some idea (those who have heard it anyways). Got a couple of shows coming up in Adelaide over the next 8 weeks including ATG5 - AGAINST THE GRAIN 2009 (a show that I run), this should be amassive show and a highlight in the Australian metal calender with 20 of the countries finest metal acts and also featuring Bhelliom from Singapore (mourning Sound label mates). The Devastation / Decimation EP is available in all good record stores in Australia now so if yu haven't got a copy be sure to grab it now and support Australian Metal.

DEVASTATION / DECIMATION EP & AUSTRALIAN TOUR DETAILS

Following on from the bands recent tour of Asia late last year, S.A extreme thrashers Truth Corroded will set out on the Australian 'Decimation' tour from April- June. The band will be joined by Truth Inc Records label mates Double Dragon for performances in Adelaide, Melbourne and Western Australia and the labels new breed for 09 Lynchmada in Queensland, Separatist in Tasmania and The Omen in Victoria. For full details check the posters on the right hand side.

Truth Corroded will be releasing a split tour E.P with Double Dragon as part of the tour. Titled 'The Devastation / Decimation EP', the cd will feature re-workings of Truth Corroded's 'Ninety-One' and 'Nothing At Hand' by Double Dragon, and 'Like Nails' and 'Inflictor' by Double Dragon covered by Truth Corroded. The E.P (recorded at Deep Blue Studios in Adelaide) will be available at performances on the tour with a retail release date to be set for later this year. Following the tour Truth Corroded will begin writing and pre-production for the follow up to 'Upon The Warlords Crawl' and will be planning another tour of Asia for late 2009.

TRUTH CORRODED VS DOUBLE DRAGON EP

Adelaide metal heavy hitters TRUTH CORRODED and DOUBLE DRAGON are excited to announce they will be teaming up and hitting the studio to record a joint EP, aptly titled "Double Dragon VS Truth Corroded, The Devastation / Decimation EP" After being contacted by Adelaide based recording studio "DEEP BLUE STUDIOS " ( www.deepbluestudios.com.au ) executive producer DANIEL MURTAGH ( DOUBLE DRAGON/ENTANGLEMENT ) offered the opportunity for both bands to cover two songs from each others back catalogue at Deep Blue Studios, the new state of the art recording studio located in the bands hometown of Adelaide, Australia. With the studio now full operational, Daniel states " What better way to get the recordings started than to get two of Adelaide's favorite sons, TRUTH CORRODED and DOUBLE DRAGON, in for a couple of days smashing up each others songs. Not only will it be a great experiment to see how these bands, who are good friends and label mates, re work and add their own flavors to each others songs, but it will be great for the studio to get in these great musicians who have served Adelaide's music scenes extremely well over the last 5 years with TRUTH INC RECORDS and AGAINST THE GRAIN FESTIVAL, and what better way to christen our world class studio in the most brutal way possible" DOUBLE DRAGON will be reworking songs 'NINETY ONE' and ' NOTHING @ HAND' and TRUTH CORRODED will be reworking "INFLICTOR" and "LIKE NAILS". A DEPARTING MESSAGE FROM COREY

A Message from Corey regarding his departure from Truth Corroded

It is with deep sadness that I announce my departure from Truth Corroded.
Though this was not the plan originally the past 7 months without jamming
and gigging with the band has taken a negative toll on me personally, missing out on the Asia tour being my breaking point!

I feel it is better for both my sanity and the band as business to remove myself from the equation as my current situation is not going to change for some time.

The 5 years I spent with TC were the 5 best years of my life to date! I got to see all corners of Australia, share the stage with awesome bands both home-grown and international plus record two albums with 3 of my oldest friends. I met so many great people (fans, bands, TC drummers) and am extremely grateful for knowing all of you.

I am extremely proud of what I achieved with the band and the sound I helped TC create, culminating in the 'warlords' album.

To all the fans whom have supported the band and my playing over the years, THANKYOU! Your words have been nothing short of inspirational!!

I will continue to support the band and my services will always be available for any studio work should it be required.

I will now focus on improving my playing and hope to have one or more projects up and running by the end of 09, i will be back!

I would personally like to thank Mark, Jase and Greg for allowing me the opportunity to share in the dream they built and also to Liam for being the final piece in the puzzle that allowed us to obtain the sound we wanted. Nobody could ask for a better group of guys to play in a band with and I only hope I can feel that vibe again.

COREY LEAVES TRUTH CORRODED

Truth Corrodeds lead guitarist Corey Grieve has amicably left the band. Corey has not been performing with the band for the past several months and did not tour with the band during the recent Asian tour. Unable to commit any further due to personal circumstances, Corey made the decision to leave the band after assessing the future commitments required to be a member of Truth Corroded. Corey has been with Truth Corroded for five years, joining after the band reformed in mid-2003 and played a significant role in the development of the bands sound and identity. As a lead guitarist Corey is outstanding, but above all, as a friend he is invaluable. His membership will be missed but we thank him for his brilliant musical contributions and several years of endurance and very good times. We wish Corey the very best for his future endeavours, and be assured Corey will be making a contribution to the next Truth corroded recording.

Truth Corroded would like to welcome Darren McClennen as the new lead guitarist. Darren has been performing with the band since Sept.2008, making his debut at the Against The Grain festival and recently toured with the band in Asia. Darren has had several years experience performing with local bands The Harrowed and Sarsekim. With Darren’s experience, performance and exceptional guitar work, his addition to the band will continue the bands ascendance as one of Australia's longest running and leading thrash metal acts. Truth Corroded will begin writing the follow up to the highly successful 'Upon the Warlords Crawl' album before setting out on a national tour in April-June.

In March 2008 Truth Corroded released 'Upon The Warlords Crawl' in Australia through Truth Inc Records ( a label established in 2005 and run by members of Truth Corroded and Double Dragon that now represents several Australian heavy music acts ) The album was recorded in the bands home state of South Australia at Soundhouse and Slaughterhouse Studio's by Kyle Bloksgaard and mixed and mastered in Sweden at Black Lounge Studio by Scar Symmetry guitarist Jonas Kjellegren. The album received critical acclaim from online and print media within Australia and abroad, with comparisons to bands such as Lamb Of God, Testament and The Haunted and an average rating of 8-9/10 (see reviews) The band followed up the album release with a tour of Australia from May-September.

WE'RE BACK AND READY TO THRASH OUT THE END OF 2008

So we have all made it back from the Asian tour safely except for Greg who is currently stuck in the middle of a Bangkok Riot (seriously he is) and the tour was absolutely AWESOMO!!!. Hope to put up a full tour diary soon with a hell load of photos (once we round them all up) but for now just wanna send out huge thanks to the following people - Bret & Mourning Sound Records, Kimi, Alan, Gos and all at Mind Your Head, Bhelliom, Jesse from Painkiller, Tina, Max, LuLu, Hyponic, Evocation (HK), Dissected, Behemoth, GxSxD, Truth be Known, Sa Bing, Fah and the Immortal Bar (Bucket Hell) all the people we shared countless beers with and our horns are raised high to all the people who turned out to the shows and made them some of the best shows of our lives. I know i have missed some people so I apologise for that. Hopefully if all goes to plan we will return in 2009 to do it all over again.

Now that being said we have 3 killer All Ages shows left in Adelaide to close up 2008.

ASIAN TOUR & ALBUM RELEASE FULL DETAILS

Truth Corroded's new album 'Upon the Warlords Crawl' was released in Asia through Mourning Sound Records ( Singapore ) on September 13. Truth Corroded will be touring Asia Oct / Nov performing several shows in Hong Kong, China and Thailand as part of the FULL BATTLE ORDER - TOUR OF DUTY ASIA along side label mates Bhelliom (Singapore). As part of the tour Truth Corroded will be supporting Polish death metal masters BEHEMOTH in Beijing. The tour dates are as follows -

In other developments for the band, Liam Okninski has re-joined Truth Corroded. The band welcome Liam back to the line up and also extend a welcome to Darren McLennan as the bands touring lead guitarist. Darren joins the band as the official touring guitarist for overseas tours and selected local/national performances. Both Darren and Liam recently performed at the Against The Grain metal festival in Adelaide.

TRUTH CORRODED NEED A NEW DRUMMER. APPLY NOW

Truth Corroded drummer Liam Okninski will be leaving the band to concentrate on his sporting career. Truth Corroded are now holding auditions to replace Liam in order to have a replacement ready to assume the role of drummer with the band by the time of Liams departure.

The band seek a drummer that is dedicated, highly skilled in speed and double kick and willing to tour on a national and international level. Drummers currently performing in other bands but able to further commit to another band will also be considered. For musical reference and level of skill required please visit the bands myspace or website and listen to the songs 'Decimate', ‘When God is Murder’ and 'The Immolation Seen'.

FULL METAL RACKET FEATURE

For those who tune into Triple J's Full Metal Racket you would have heard the interview with Greg last night on the FMR Australian Special.
